METTA V. PRESTON, 3rd. child of Ira Luman and Cynthia Ann
(Allen) Preston, was born Aug. 5, 1859. She married Aug. 11, 1878,
E. R. Wilcox, who was born July 25, 1857, and died May 1, 1902.
He has an educator, and was Principal of the Washington Union School,
Washington, Macomb Co., Mich., for eight years.
His widow lives at Washington, Mich., 1936.
To this couple was born two children:

GERTRUDE WILCOX, daughter of E. R. and Metta V. (Preston)
Wilcox, was born July, 8, 1881. She married May. 24, 1907,
George W. Stiles. They reside at Washington, Mich.

ERNEST A. WILCOX, son of E. R. and Metta V. (Preston)
Wilcox, was born Jan. 22, 1883, and died Oct. 9, 1935. He
married Sep. 22, 1919, Beulah Utley. They had one son; with
whom Mrs. Wilcox resides at 1221 Manistique St., Detroit,
Mich. Their son is:

JENNIE A PRESTON, 4th. child of Ira Luman and Cynthia Ann
(Allen) Preston, was born Jan. 26, 1864. She married
Feb. 13, 1890, C. Omer Crissman, of Utica, Mich. Children:
married Sep. 10, 1917, Dulce McKean.
They live at 4370 Fullerton St. Detroit, Mich. No Children.
married Apr. 10, 1926, Edward Emory.
They live at 829 Florence Ave., Royal Oak, Mich.
Two children:
married Thomas Burdon Dimmick. No children. Live in Indiana.
m. June 29, 1929 at Standish, Mich. Margaret Williamson.
They reside at Utica, Mich., where they have a flour mill,
which has been in the Crissman family for over 100 years.
