There is an index listing at Ancestry.com 1830 census Tennessee Wilson County page 93 for a Michael Sedrick, but I have been unable to find the record. Is he father of this James Monroe Sedrick?

The 1900 census records that Lucinda had borne 14 children and 8 were still living, however, in 1910 she says 10 still living. so it is likely that the 8 living refers to the 8 living at home.
